SERGENT-WOODWARD (KENWORTHY), LOUISE – Of Levering, Michigan, passed away peacefully at age 96.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, MI 48507, Pastor Jeff Rolfe officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.

Louise was born on August 1, 1928, in Flint, Michigan to George and Bertha Kenworthy. She moved with her family to Flint Township where she lived with her parents until her marriage to James Sergent in 1966. Louise was employed by Buick and then GM Service Parts Operations for a total of 41 years of service. She was a member of the Free Methodist church for most of her life and was active as church treasurer, Sunday School teacher, and CYC leader.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Steve) Sharp, her step-children, Gary (Gail Webb) Sergent, Dennis Sergent, and Colleen (Don) Short, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sergent, her second husband, Perry Woodward, her siblings, and her daughter-in-law, Mary Sergent.
Over the many long years since her stroke, Louise has had many, many caregivers who made life so much easier through their willingness to do a tough job. We are grateful for them.
