MAY, Lee - Of Clio, Angels escorted Lee on Monday, October 26, 2020. She was 88. She went peacefully surrounded by her family after having several heart issues.
Lee was born in Paragould, Arkansas on November 24, 1931, the daughter of the late Ernest and Nannie (Riley) Janes. Lee Janes became Mrs. Finis Ray May in 1947. They moved to Michigan and lived their life in Mt. Morris and Clio. Lee was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and Parents of Murdered Children. She was friendly and loved by all.
Left to cherish her memory are sons, Jimmy (Jean) May, and Martie May;
granddaughters, Donali (Ed) Kraszewski and Lisa (Marc) Kesten;
grandsons, David May, Nick (Tina) May, Joe (Karyn) May, Sam May and Bill May;
great-grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Kaitlynn, Jacob, Alayna, Cameron, London, Erin, Billie and Dahlia;
sister, Jean Davis;
and brother, Mack (Fritzi) Janes.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Ray May, sons Jerry and Don May, and brother Jesse Janes.
Per Lee’s request, there will be no funeral services.
