BRISTOL, Norma Jean – of Mt. Morris, age 78, passed away October 1, 2016 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Brother Clinton Peters officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday, 10 AM – 1 PM and 3-8 PM Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice.
Norma was born in Flint, MI on February 23, 1938, daughter of the late Ray and Maude (Johnson) Stiles. She married Jack A. Bristol on March 28, 1958 in Flint, MI and was married for almost 50 years. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2009. Norma worked for Lakeville Schools on the playground for 19 years.
Norma is survived by her children, Victoria J. (Michael) Woodring, Lory A. (Tom) Harper; grandchildren, Sarah J. (Zach) Bohms, Rachel A. Woodring, Thomas James (Amanda) Harper II; great grandchildren, Gary M. Bohms, Nevaeh A. Bohms, Tatiana Travis, Les James Harper; siblings, Geraldine Burden, Carol Ackerman; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Virginia (Norm) Anderson. She was preceded in death by her brother, Howard Stiles. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Carrie and Amanda, caregivers with Heart to Heart Hospice.
