John James Orin, Jr. age 50, of Davison, Michigan unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, March 10 from a brain aneurysm. John was born in Flint, Michigan. He attended Grand Blanc schools and University of Michigan, Flint where he recently received his Master in Computer Science. He was employed by General Motors for the last 22 years. He was a lifelong supporter of all U of M sports and also the Detroit Lions. He loved cheering them on and the comradery that went along with it. He also loved animals and always had at least one cat and dog living with him. John is survived by the love of his life, Sandy Rickard , and her son Nik . His parents John (Jan) Orin and Sandy Orin, step brothers Hal (Brooke White), Sean White and his Labrador Stella and cat Bella . Additionally he leaves numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. On Saturday, March 21, 2020 a celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the community hall of Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 W. Bristol Rd., Flint, MI A light lunch will follow, also at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Humane Society at www.Michiganhumane.org/tributes |
