STEWART, Geneva Ann – of Flint, age 98, died Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 17, 2025 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Rev. Fr Ken Coughlin officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. Memorial contributions can be made to the Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church.
Geneva was born June 13, 1926 in Devils Lake, North Dakota to the late Eino A. and Anna M. (Eisele) Isaacson. She married Clarence L. Stewart “Pete” on November 30, 1942 in Cape Jurado, Missouri. Geneva and Clarence were married for 82 years, he preceded her in death on May 13, 1992. For 10 years she was employed with Yankee before taking time off to watch over her grandchildren. She later worked for the Fair Store for 14 years, before retiring in 1990. Geneva was a member of Lota Lambda Soroity. She enjoyed dancing, BINGO, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memory are: Children, Paul (Phyllis) Stewart, Rick Stewart, Pamela Collins; Grandchildren, Mandy (Jim) Wirsing, Jeni Reed, Lisa (Cliff) Hughes, Blair (Jeremy) Lurvey, Paul (Amy) Stewart, Mike Fink, Jim Fink, Brentley (Lacie) Collins; Great Grandchildren, Jackson, Matthew, Max, and Luke Wirsing, Zachery (Amanda) Hyder, Nick Caler, Abby (Liam) Jarrad, Jacob Stewart, Ethan Stewart, Eino Hughes; Sister, Illene Sharp; many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. Geneva was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Clarence Stewart; Daughter, Linda Fink; Grandson, Patrick Stewart; Siblings, Hubert Isaacson, Clarence Isaacson, Betty (Rusty) Rust, Leonard Isaacson; Son in law, Jack Fink; Brother in law, Vance Sharp.
