Marion Myrtle (Bancroft) Keil, 89, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born the daughter of LeRoy L. & Mamie (Eckmyre) Bancroft on August 11, 1925, in Flint, Michigan. On December 20, 1945, she married the love of her life Henry Keil in Flint. He preceded her in death in 2010. She was a homemaker, living in Gladwin County since 1979, previously residing in Flint. Marion loved her family and lived 89 years, passing away 3 weeks before her 90th birthday. Left to cherish her memory are her children: John (Barb) Keil of Flint; Diane (David) Bortle of Clio; Linda (Marty) Jarrard of Florida; Mary (Wayne) Allen of Gladwin; Bruce (Sharlene) Keil of Gladwin; Brenda (Joe) Gagne of Gladwin; 22 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband: Henry Keil; her parents; granddaughters: Ronnie Sujak-Smith; Lindsay Bortle-Rodgers; 4 brothers; 1 sister. Honoring her wishes cremation will take place and Memorial Services will be conducted by John Hart, a family member, on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 29, 2015, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. The family will be providing a luncheon following the service.
