ANDERSON, Kenneth G. - Of Flint, age 86, died Friday, November 22, 2013 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, November 25, 2013
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Shriners Childrens Hospital.
Visitation 12-8pm Sunday and 11am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Kenneth was born in Risco, Missouri on June 9, 1927, the son of the late Algernon and Twannett Anderson. Kenneth married Kathaline Hammond on June 1, 1947 in Flint and she preceded him in death on May 2, 2008. Kenneth received his Bachelors in Business from Ferris State University. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of Elf Khurafeh Shrine Temple. Kenneth retired as a Branch Manager and Loan Officer from Citizens Bank in 1985 after 30 years of service.
Surviving are 2 children, Pamela and husband Ron Rice of Macomb, MI and Jeffrey Anderson of Flint;
grandchildren, Ron and wife Amy Rice of Galesburg, MI, Randy and wife Jenni Rice of Rochester, MI, Mindy and husband Peter Hamp of Fenton and Anthony Anderson of Flushing;
great-grandchildren, Brianna and Alaina Rice, Kate and Wally Rice, and Joshua Hamp;
several nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathaline, and 2 brothers, Charles and Buford Anderson,
