WHITE, Dorothy E. – Of Burton, formerly of Waynesville, North Carolina, age 93, died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Regency of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor John Backes officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. and 3-8 p.m. Tuesday and 12 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born in Candor, North Carolina on September 12, 1925, the daughter of the late Ernest and Lucena (Johnson) Parsons.
She was a member of Maple Grove United Methodist Church in Waynesville, North Carolina. She retired from AC Spark Plug Division.
Surviving are children, Diane Long and Steve (Kathy) White;
14 grandchildren;
21 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, James and William White; granddaughter, Ann Marie White and grandson, Jeff Vance.
