SCHREIBER, Donna Jean – of Davison, age 84, passed away June 30, 2015 at Genesys Convalescent Center. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday, July 6, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial will be in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 and 5-8 PM Sunday and 10-11 AM Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davison/Richfield Senior Center or Outreach East.
Donna was born in Davison, MI on December 13, 1930, daughter of the late Ira and Velma (Davison) Holmes. She married Herman C. Schreiber on June 11, 1949 at Court Street Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on June 16, 2010. They shared 61 wonderful years together. Donna worked for General Telephone/Verizon, retiring in 1986. She enjoyed traveling and taking trips to the casino.
Donna is survived by her children, Larry (Marilyn), Debbie (Freddy) Fernandes; grandchildren, Noel, Nicole (Jeff), Nisha (Krishnan), Paul (Amy), Kurt (Annapurna); great grandchildren, Riley, Carter, Quentin, Jaya, Ayaan; sister-in-law, Jeannie Workman. The family wishes to thank the staff at Genesys Convalescent Center and Reverence Hospice.
