CHAPMAN, Kathleen A. - of Holiday, Florida, formerly of Clio, Michigan, age 84, died Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Gulfside Hospice Center in New Port Richey, Florida. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
Kathleen was born March 12, 1933 in Chesaning, Michigan to the late Lawrence and Anna (Sutter) Weber. She married Paul Chapman on July 30, 1997. Kathleen was the office manager with Krasner Jewelers for 25 years before retiring in 1994. She was also a licensed CNA and took care of the elderly for many years. Kathleen was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church before moving to Florida, and past president of POH Ladies Guild. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Polish Legion of American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary. Kathleen loved crafting, crocheting, and painting. She also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, camping and spending time by the campfire. Kathleen always loved having a full home and entertaining. She was known for making the most amazing BBQ ribs, baked beans, and scallop potatoes.
Surviving are: Husband, Paul Chapman; Children: Deborah Meads, Larry (Kim) Crawford, Jerry (Joyce) Crawford, Cynthia (James) Chapman, and James Crawford; Stepsons: Ron (Diane) Chapman, and David (Gay) Turton; 31 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; Sister, Genevieve (Edward) Almassy; Brothers: Ralph (Delores) Weber, and Donald (Gloria) Weber; Sister in law, Donna Weber; Many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was also preceded in death by her brothers: Charles Weber, and Richard Weber; Sons in law: David Meads, and Jerry Ray; Sister in law, Loretta Weber.
