WARREN, David Martin - Born May 30, 1956, David Martin Warren of Flint, Michigan, passed away on August 17, 2024 at the age of 68.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service is planned for Dave on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 4:00pm. It will take place at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 3317 E Bristol Road, Burton, Michigan, 48529.
In lieu of flowers, donations to contribute to memorial expenses will be accepted. Those donations over and above expenses will be set aside for Dave's grandchildren.
He leaves behind many loved ones, including daughter, Amanda Fairbanks (Corey) and beloved grandchildren, Maggie and his namesake, David; father William Warren (Kimberly); brothers, William Warren and Matthew Warren (Catherine); sister, Julie Lake (Keith); and step siblings (Kelly and Barron Higham). He is also survived by a nephew, six nieces, several cousins, and many loving friends.
Dave was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Warren (1999) and nephew Blake Warren (2011).
Dave recently retired from a long career as an electrical technician. In his spare time he took joy in visiting with family, cheering for his favorite sports teams and laughing with friends. Dave would never pass an opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, spend a day on the lake, hit some golf balls, or cheers with his friends over karaoke or a BBQ.
