Reeves, Virginia G. of Flushing, age 94, died Saturday, September 2, 2017. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 noon Wednesday until the time of the service.
Virginia was born in Flint, Michigan on October 24, 1922, the daughter of Waldo and Clara (Smith) Glidden. She married James Reeves in Flint, Michigan on December 28, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 2, 2016. Virginia was a member of the First Flint Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed history, studying genealogy and was a member of DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution. Virginia also enjoyed drawing, sewing and gardening. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was taking care of her family.
Virginia is survived by her children; grandchildren; brother, Arnold Glidden; and other extended family and friends.
