McLEES, Janet - Of Flint, age 76, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital-McLaren. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Dr. Ray T. McGee officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 11a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Janet was born in Flint on April 4, 1935. Janet graduated from Flint Technical High School, as Class President, and went on to work for the State of Michigan, Social Services Division rising from Case Worker to section Supervisor before retiring after a 35 year career. She had been an active member of Court Street Methodist Church and in later years Calvary United Methodist Church also of Flint.
Janet is survived by her two sons, Mark and Matt McLees both of Flint. She is also survived by her mother, Emma Stoddard of Grand Blanc, her brother Ron Stoddard of Charleston, SC and three granddaughters. Your condolences may be shared with the family at swartzfuneralhomeinc.com
