WILLING, William E. “Bill” - Of Flint, age 86, died Sunday, October 18, 2020 at his residence.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
William was born in Flint on February 6, 1934, the son of the late William and Helen (Swiss) Willing. He worked for Willing Glass Company. Bill was outdoorsy and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a gentle, quiet, patient, and loving person.
Surviving are wife Barbara (Skinner);
children, Leanne (Robert) Mott, Mark (Diane) Willing, Annemarie Malenich, Amanda (Liz) Young and Anthony (Lisa) Willing;
many loved grandchildren and one great-grandchild;
brother, Jack Willing;
special caregiver, Alicia Scott.
Dad-ism: “When in a hurry, go slow.”
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan VanCleve.
