PEARISO, Nellie H. – of Clio, age 89, died Monday, February 11, 2013 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Friday, February 15, 2013 at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. Fr. Bob McGraw officiating. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Thursday from 1-8PM where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 PM. She will lie in state at the church on Friday from 9:30 AM until time of Mass. Contributions in her memory may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or the Build Fund at Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church.
Nellie was born September 13, 1923 in Fostoria to the late Milo and Anna (Wooley) Miller. She lived in Clio since 1948 coming from Columbiaville. Mrs. Peariso married John Peariso on February 4, 1942. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2000. She was a cook for Canteen Food Service at Clio Schools for 18 years retiring in 1995. She was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church, the Altar Society, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered at the Crapo Senior Center.
Surviving are: children, Janice (Gerald) Turner of Clio, Jenell (Gary) Crisi of Millington, Roderick (Bonnie) Peariso of Lapeer, Annette (Randy) Jacobi of Luther, Thomas Peariso of Shreveport, LA; canine companion, TJ; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Lula (Henry) Reppuhn of Fenton; brother, Gordon (Leona) Miller of Columbiaville; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: son, Pat Peariso, daughter in law, Debbie Peariso; grandson, Jamie Jacobi; brother, Silas Miller; sisters, Gladys Bradshaw, Irene Kent and Geraldine Zirk.
