Johnson (Woods), Cindy - of Mt. Morris, age 68, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23. 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11AM, Saturday, November 30, 2024, at St. Charles and Helena Catholic Church - 230 E Vienna St, Clio, MI. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery in Mt. Morris. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 12PM until 8PM at O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio and at Church on Saturday from 10AM until the time of Mass.
Cindy was born on November 20, 1956, in Bay City, MI, to her loving parents, Lawrence and Beverly (Pendred) Woods. Cindy attended Clio High School, graduating in 1974, before pursuing her passion at Edwards School of Cosmetology. For over 50 years, she dedicated herself to her career as a hairdresser, bringing joy and style to countless individuals. A nature enthusiast, Cindy found solace in fishing, cherishing moments outdoors at the family cabin, or camping up north. Her creative spirit shone through her love for painting and crafting, displaying her unique talents. Her laughter was contagious, her spirit vibrant, and her love for family immeasurable. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she celebrated every moment with them, her support unwavering and her love unconditional. Cindy's enthusiasm for life was unmatched. Always ready for a fun bingo trip with the girls, Cindy embraced each day with a zest that inspired those around her. Her warm smile, boundless love, infectious spirit, lively presence, and vibrant personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are: Husband, Tim Johnson: Daughters: Angela (Shannon) Cameron, and Melissa (Dennis) Bristow; Stepson, Patrick Johnson (Kelsey); She was blessed with 7 grandchildren: Luke (Alyssa) and Lance Nichols, Grace, Reagan, Quincy, Reece, and Owen Cameron; Great granddaughter, Rosie Nichols; Parents: Larry and Beverly Woods; Siblings: Corrine Robinson, Chaundelle (Tim) Goodhue, Cathy (Tony) Clemons, Larry (Michelle) Woods; Many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lindsay Ebner, and husband, Cecil Warren. A very special thank you to Staci, Sarah and staff from Mid Michigan Hospice, Mom’s 4th floor Neurology team, and her oncologist, Dr. Kalemkeriam at University of Michigan Hospital for the outstanding care, love and support they gave our entire family. |
