HOGAN, Rita Rose – age 89 passed away on November 29, 2018 in Flushing, Michigan. Rita was born on December 31, 1928 in Flint, Michigan to the late Adlor and Cecelia Como. Rita was a loving wife and mother, always active with her nine children’s lives until her last days. She was a Grand Life Master Bridge player. She loved to display her baskets at art fairs throughout the state and taught basket weaving for many years. Rita was also an avid Detroit Tigers fan. She was a wonderful woman and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her children: Dru (Roger) Beedle, Dawn (John) O’Brien, Dirk (Cynthia) Hogan, Del (Lucinda) Hogan, Deidre Kelly, Darren Hogan, Dion (Patti) Hogan, Deanna (Jerome) Peariso, Derek (Jennifer) Hogan; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Jan Lee Como; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Hogan; parents; and her son, Dane Matthew Hogan. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 2pm with visitation from 10am until time of service at Reigle Funeral Home – 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan. |
