LECLAIR, Elizabeth. – of Clio, age 103, died Friday, November 18, 2016 at Gross Assisted Living of Clio. Funeral Services will be held 11AM Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor LuAnn Rourke officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2-8PM and Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice or the charity of one’s choice.
Elizabeth was born October 17, 1913 in Budapest, Hungary to the late Steve and Josephine (Erhardt) Lanyi. She had attended Flint Central High School. Elizabeth married Phil J. LeClair on August 14, 1937. He preceded her in death in 1977. She was a member of the Senior Citizens of Flint. Elizabeth enjoyed sewing, quilting and knitting. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, gardening and walking.
Surviving are: Sons: Ted (Ann) LeClair of Clio, and Terry (Joanie) LeClair of Flagstaff, Arizona; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; Brother, Victor (Judy) Lanyi; Several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her sisters: Helen Hubbard and Marge Josephine Bill.
