Carol (Potts) Fouchea of Burt, Age 69, passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at St. Martin Lutheran Church, 10995 Canada Road, Birch Run, MI 48415, Pastor Jim Chinery, officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM, with a luncheon immediately following.
Carol was born September 5, 1946 in Flint, Michigan to the late John and Ruth (Reinhold) Potts. She was a 1964 graduate of Mt. Morris High School. Carol retired from the Metallurgy Department at Buick City after 30 years of service.
She enjoyed working in the yard, going to the casino and watching movies. Carol had an immense love for all animals, especially horses and dogs. A few are walking with her in Heaven – Stassy, Fabiola, and Bella.
Surviving are: sons, James Severn (Burt), Matthew (Cori) Severn (Burt), and Mark (Vickie Irish) Severn (Sterling Heights); grandchildren, Courtney, Cole, Mikey and Brianna; sister, Diane (Rick) Berry; niece, Jenny; nephew, Greg.
Carol was preceded in death by: father, John Potts; mother, Ruth Potts; brother, John C Potts.
