FERRIS, James M. – of Clio, age 57, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 19, 2024, at his home. Funeral services will be held 1:30PM Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12PM until the time of service at 1:30PM.
James was born December 21, 1966, in Flint, Michigan, to James and Sharon (Osborn) Ferris. He graduated from Clio High School in 1985. James enjoyed playing basketball and lived a life filled with passion for sports, especially for his favorite Detroit sports teams – the Red Wings, Tigers, and Pistons. Known for his love of 80's rock music, he would often be seen rocking out to his favorite tunes, especially the iconic bands Kiss and Van Halen. James cherished exhilarating trips to Cedar Point, where he could indulge in the rush of adrenaline and create unforgettable memories with those he loved the most. He will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: Daughters: Emily Ferris and Christy Ferris (Fiancé Austin); Son, Nicholas Ferris; Granddaughters: Sophia and Amelia Wisbiski; Parents, James and Sharon Ferris; Brother: Joseph (Robin) Ferris; Sister, Cheryl (Edward) Wiley; Aunt, Gloria Sparks; Many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
