Went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare Saginaw; age 79 years. Lillian Lenora Stern was born on January 1, 1936 to the late Elmer and Lenore Stern. She was married to Albert Mueller on October 15, 1955, he preceded her in death on November 7, 2008. Lillian was baptized and confirmed at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, and was a member of the Lutheran Missionary Guild. Lillian was employed with Zehnder’s Restaurant for many years.
Surviving are; 3 children, Randy Mueller (Mike Downey – Life Partner) of Warren, MI, Debra (Chris) Newbold of Clio, MI, Larry (Carole)Mueller of Traverse City, MI; 4 grandchildren, Jason Newbold (fiancée Sheila Ford) of Flushing, MI, Jena (Derrick) Howe of Flushing, MI, Emilee Mueller and Nicholas Mueller of Traverse City, MI; sister Shirley Kolberg, brother Eugene (Arlene) Stern, sisters-in-law Jessie Mueller, Linda (Otto) Bierlein, brother-in-law John Haines, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Albert, Lillian was preceded in death by; sister Lorine Haubenstricker, sister-in-law Esther Haines, brother-in-law Clarence Mueller, brothers-in-law Carl Haubenstricker and Curt Kolberg.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. Rev. Caleb Adams will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Lillian’s family will receive visitors on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church or Charity of Donor’s Choice.
