CRONIN, Nancy M. – Of Flushing, age 86, died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Resurrection Reformed Church, 5225 Calkins Road, Flint, Pastor Kristi Kiel officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Flint Institute of Music or Resurrection Reformed Church.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Mrs. Cronin will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service.
Nancy was born on September 22, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Arnold and Thelma (James) Klett. She worked for Time-Life, Inc. and General Motors Corporation, where she met Francis Cronin. They were married May 4, 1963. Nancy was a member of Resurrection Reformed Church for many years. She loved volunteering, served as President of Allegro, was a member of P.E.O. Sisterhood. Nancy loved traveling, gardening, classical music and the theater. Most of all she cherished her faith and spending time with her beloved family.
Surviving are children, Kathleen (Roger) Morgan, Daniel (Susan) Cronin, Elizabeth (Peter) Banwell and Timothy Cronin;
6 grandchildren, Sebastian (Cote’) Wright, Cristina (Christian) Johansson, Samuel Cronin, Patrick Banwell, Ryan Banwell and Sean Banwell;
one great-grandchild, Olivia Johansson;
sister-in-law, Theresa Sohacki;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; sisters, Gloria and Elizabeth and parents.
