CHILDS, Loretha June (Lockrey) – of Davison, MI, age 94, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Guy Lockrey officiating. Interment in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in Loretha’s memory.
Loretha was born in Flint, MI on August 15, 1925, daughter of the late Russell and Ida (Gilbert) Lockrey. She retired from AC Spark Plug after many years of service.
Loretha is survived by 2 children, Larry (Kathy) Childs and Sue (Ron) Chaplin; 4 siblings, Donald (Gail) Lockrey, Ted Lockrey, Freda Thompson and Pat Nurmi; daughter-in-law, Karen Childs; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Childs and many siblings.
