OSKEY, Kathleen F. "Kitty" (Schank) - Of Flint, age 90, died Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at Willowbrook Manor.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. MI.
Reverend David Flowers officiating.
Memorial visitation 12pm Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
Mrs. Oskey was born in Flint, Michigan on February 15, 1924 and was the daughter of Frank and Enid (Dues) Schank. She married David Oskey on August 16, 1942. Kitty was a member of Wildwind Community Church.
Surviving are her husband, David;
3 sons, Ronald and wife Joyce of Flint, David and wife Linda of Houghton Lake, Bradley and wife Jean of Grand Blanc;
8 grandchildren; Tracey Oskey, Ronald J. Oskey, Debbie Taylor, Brian (Jennifer) Oskey, Timothy (Sarah) Oskey, R. Dallas Oskey, Casey Oskey, Kelsey Oskey; 10 great-grandchildren;
5 great-great-grandchildren;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tracey Oskey; her parents; and 2 sisters, Dorothy School and Evelyn Franzen and brother Robert Schank.
