STEWART, Luanagene – of Davison, age 85, passed away June 2, 2018 at her residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the time of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Luanagene was born in Farwell, MI on July 12, 1932, daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Hoisington) Kent. She married Ewell “John” Stewart on July 28, 1958 and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2004. Luanagene was an avid deer hunter and loved to fish. She also loved gardening, bowling, walking, dancing and was known for her good cooking. In her younger days, she enjoyed riding motorcycles and water skiing.
Luanagene is survived by her children, Gina Stewart and Joseph (Tina) Stewart; son-in-law, Steven Klebs; six grandchildren, Brandi Stewart, Brittany Stewart, Shelbe Klebs, Brandon Klebs, Timothy Stewart and Nicholas Stewart; siblings, Bruce (Evelyn) Kent, Garey (Sheryl) Kent, Donna (Ron) Land and Joyce (Bob) Meyers; sister-in-law, Gladys “Casey” Hatch; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Johnnie; brothers, Ernest (Donna) Kent and Marvin Hatch. The family would like to thank Cheryl Blank and Kindred Hospice for their wonderful care and concern.
