WILLIAMSON, Carol Y. - of Mount Morris, age 81, died Saturday, May 30, 2020 at McLaren Flint. Private family gathering to be held Wednesday June 3, 2020 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home, Clio. Private burial to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Carol was born July 30, 1938 in Flint, Michigan to the late Orly and Olive (Harmon) Sawade. She graduated from Bentley High School in 1957. On April 26, 1957 she married Doyle Williamson in Flint, MI. Doyle preceded her in death on April 13, 2019. Carol was employed at Woolco as a merchandiser between 1968 and 1983 when she retired. She attended Protestant churches. Carol was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, collecting and making dolls, and ceramics
Surviving are: Daughters: Yvonne (Rick) Robison of Clio, Diane Williamson of Mount Morris; Son, Daniel (Deborah) Williamson of Durand; Grandchildren, Sarah( Justin) Nieto, Anthony (Krystal) Leach, Michael (Angie) Williamson, Shelia (Howard) Teeple, Tammy (Jeremy) Kassing, Angie (Brandon) Lethbridge, Jack (Donyelle) Robison, Matthew Williamson; 19 Great-grandchildren; Brother, Rennie (Marie) Sawade; Sisters: Colleen Bard, Collette (Roy) Hall. She was preceded in death by: Son, David Williamson; Brother, Ervin Sawade.
