THURLOW, Ward Frederick Jr. – Of Flint, age 59, died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 23, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Per Ward’s wishes cremation will take place after the service.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Ward was born in Pontiac, Michigan on March 9, 1953.
He was loyal, patient, a kind hearted soul and a real patriot.
Ward was employed by Walli's Supper Club in Burton for many years.
He enjoyed his job and felt like they were all his family.
Surviving are sister, Claire and husband Keith Tahtinen;
uncle, Clifford Thurlow and family;
several nieces, nephews and many friends;
along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins;
special friends, Reba Jeffries and Barbara Margetson and the Walli family.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
