John Henry Belin Jr. was born in Pine Bluff, AR the son of Mr. John Henry Belin Sr. and Mrs. Louise Belin.
The family relocated to Flint, MI when John was 6 years old. He attended Martin Elementary, Holmes and Emerson Jr High and graduated from Northern High School.
John began working for General Motors Corporation (Buick) Powertrain Division where he retired after 35 years of service.
He eventually moved to Utah where he settled in Salt Lake City and resided there until he was called home.
John will always be remembered as a loving and giving man. He was truly loved and the family will forever cherish the fond memories of him. He enjoyed spending time with his grand and great grand children at their football games and family outings in the Canyons. They knew they could always depend on Grandpa whenever there was a need. John may be gone from our sight but will forever be in our hearts.
Mr. John Belin leaves to cherish his daughter Ms. Monique Gutierrez of Salt Lake City, UT four grandchildren Shaun’Tae Du’Boise, Sa’Mone Ghanem, Gabriel Ghanem, and Benjamin Ghanem all of Utah. Three great grandchildren De’Von Delaherta, Darianna Delaherta and Delon John Rogers. Sisters Ms. Evelyn Harrison of Flint Township MI, Carolyn Chappell of Flushing, MI and brother Larry (Clara) Belin of Flint MI.
Nieces Keya Harrison-Overton and Roslyn Fields both of Flint Michigan. Nephews Baru (Sheila) Belin of Las Vegas, NV and Winston Belin of Flint, MI. Several cousins and host of other family members and friends.
Mr. John Belin was preceded in death by his Mother Louise Belin and Father John Edward Belin Sr
