COMBS, Jane T. “JT” Norris - Of Burton, age 71, died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 12-3pm and 5-8pm Tuesday and 12 Noon Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jane was born in Flint on September 29, 1944, the daughter of the late Donald and Elizabeth MacNeven and was a resident of the Burton area all of her life. On July 29, 1996, she married Craig Combs. Jane was the Director of Pierce Senior Center in Flint. She retired from the City of Flint and was an avid bowler.
Surviving are husband, Craig Sr.;
2 daughters, Heidi (Brad) Ross and Monica Lake;
3 step-children, Vicki, Gretchen and Craig Jr. Combs;
son-in-law, Jamie Lake;
8 grandchildren, Kaylie (Nate), Nick, Patrick, Meaghan, Merissa, Joel, Colton, and Hunter;
nephew Jim (Kerri) McGowan.
She was preceded in death by sister Elinor Wirsing and Ann Sronce.
