Stadlberger, Theron “Ted” of Flushing, age 95, died Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 20, 2020 at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday and 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service Monday at the funeral home. A memorial service under the auspices of Grand Blanc Masonic Lodge #571 will be at 6:30 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Morris First United Methodist Church.
Theron was born on June 24, 1924, the son of Henry Edward and Jessie (Lawcock) Stadlberger. He married Norma Hendershot on December 5, 1953, at Community Presbyterian Church in Flint. Ted proudly served in the U.S. Navy for eight years. He worked at General Motors-Ternstedt for 30 years as a Skilled Trades Supervisor. He was a lifetime member of the Masons. Ted enjoyed playing the organ, bowling, camping and traveling. He was an avid reader and also loved crossword puzzles. He will be remembered as a wonderful father and loving husband.
Ted is survived by his wife of 66 years, Norma; daughters, Carol Lyn (James) Kneeshaw, Linda Sue (Paton) Zimmerman, Susan Carol (Michael) Middleton; grandchildren, Matthew (Melissa) Zimmerman, Elizabeth (Timothy) Sova, Timothy (Jess) Zimmerman, Christopher (Tiffany) Kneeshaw, Anthony Kneeshaw, Emily (Shaun) Scott, Kaitlyn (Justin) Robinson, Hannah (Eric) Mann; and 15 great-grandchildren.
