BARBER, Patricia Anne (Strobel) - Age 81, of Flint, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial immediately following in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Motts Children's Hospital.
Patricia was born July 25, 1936 in Flint, the daughter of Claude and Addie (Fogilphol) Drew. She married Fred Strobel and he preceded her in death, she then married Richard Barber and he also preceded her in death. She had resided in Flint her entire life. She had worked for Bell Telephone, Mott Farms, and Creative Foam.
Surviving are: children, Barbara (Jerry) Dillingham of St. Charles, Audrey Lasky of Mt. Morris, Patrick (Marsha) Strobel of Fenton, Rodney (Tammy) Strobel, Sr. of Flushing, Angela (Patrick) Pindur of Montrose, grandchildren, Megan Dowland, Benjamin Dowland, Julie Lasky, Christina Dillingham, Kelli Dillingham, Andrea Strobel, Rodney Strobel, Jr., Sarah (Vincent) Conn, Samantha Pindur, and Katy (Shane) Chapman; special great grandson, Blaine and seven other great grandchildren; sister, Gladys McConnelee of Davison; brothers, Robert (Diane) Drew of Okatie, SC and John (Beatrice) Drew of Fenton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Linda Dowland; sister, Delores Eickoff; and brothers, William, Henry, and Claude Drew. Online tributes may be posted on the obituaries page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
