JOHNSON, Cathleen “C.J.” - Of Flint, age 44, died Thursday, February 5, 2015 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Chris Vitarelli officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 1-8pm Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home.
Cathleen was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on June 1, 1970, the daughter of Bruce Hinmon and Darline Casen. On October 29, 2010, she married Brian Umphrey in Flint. C.J. worked as a waitress at Churchill’s and at Mt. Pleasant Soaring Eagle where she was a card dealer. She loved her cats.
Surviving are husband, Brian Umphrey;
father, Bruce and wife Vera Hinmon and mother, Darline and husband Vern Stratton;
sisters, Pamela Johnson, Susan (Richard) Bigford, Melinda (Bruce) Smith, Carolyn (Scott) Akiyama, Anita Hinmon, Kimberly Hinmon and Bethany Hinmon;
brothers, Richard Johnson, Dale Johnson and Derek (Becca) Cook;
21 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews;
and longtime friend, Lisa (Tom) Moss;
She was preceded in death by grandmother, Malinda Pontiac Green Hinmon and Mildred Chipman; sisters, Bonnie Johnson and Stella Jean Hinmon Pierson; brother, Bruce Hinmon, Jr.
