Richard (Rick) Earl Little, age 68, of Grand Blanc, Michigan passed away surrounded by family on Saturday July 7, 2018. Per Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Richard was born on November 11, 1949 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Joesph and Helen Little. Rick graduate from Lake Orion High School. He was in the US Army and served in the Vietnam war.
He enjoyed walks in the woods, cooking, golfing, trips to the casino, bowling, sunshine on his face, playing the harmonica, listening to the Blues, skipping stones, going to visit the farm animals at Lucky Day Animal Rescue, spending time with his family, and bringing sweet treats to his grandchildren.
Rick is survived by his wife, Anita. Daughters; Amy (Jason) Mackie of Grand Blanc. Jody (John) Churchville of Ann Arbor. Stepdaughters; Gretchen (Derek) Sommer of Holly. Brandie (Matt) Hintze of Ludington. And 10 grandchildren; Gavin, Liam, and Delanie Mackie. Charley and Rosemary Churchville. Mason, Max, and Mackenzie Sommer. Lincoln and Sophie Hintze. His sister Mary Woodley, his brother Robert Little, and his beloved dog Ozzie. And many more friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Martha Little and Peggy Landry, his brothers Russell and Raymond Little, and his beloved dog Stanley.
The family wishes to express endless gratitude for the exceptional care and respect shown to him by the palliative care department at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, Saginaw.
