BEST, Virginia Bailey – of Mt. Morris, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 4, 2013 from her home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Rev. Bruce Lawton officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1-8PM and on Thursday from 10AM until time of services. Contributions may be made to New Covenant Free Methodist Church or the charity of one’s choice.
Virginia was born in Flint on December 18, 1931 to the late Ernest and Goldie Riley. She married James F. Bailey in 1949. She co-owned Bailey s RV and Travel Trailer Sales. He preceded her in death in 1996. She then married Charles Best on July 31, 2000.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory: husband, Charles; along with her children, Jacqueline (Fred) Powell, James Jr. (Janice) Bailey, Janet (Art) Bone, Jerry (Linda) Bailey, and Judy Bailey; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 sisters; 2 sisters in law; several nieces and nephews; step daughter, Sandy Burtrum; step son, Harvey Best and their families. Virginia was also preceded in death by: 3 sisters and 2 brothers. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Charles Best for the loving and tender care he gave to her to the end.
