DREUTH, Dorothy – of Laingsburg, formerly of Flint, age 91, passed away March 6, 2016. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 S. Genesee Rd., Burton; Pastor Daniel Wonderly officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service on Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church or Flint Association for the Deaf.

Dorothy was born in Ashland, WI on May 30, 1924, daughter of the late William J. and Emma (Taitt) Lamb. She was a graduate of Michigan School for the Deaf in 1943. Dorothy married Henry J. Dreuth on August 16, 1947 in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on December 3, 2013.
She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and the Flint Association for the Deaf where she was very active from adulthood on. Dorothy was an avid bowler and softball player. She loved the Detroit Tigers, but her greatest love was her family. Dorothy retired as an inspector for AC Spark Plug.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Darlene (Bud) Swett and John (Catherine) Dreuth; grandchildren, Victoria, Deborah, Jenny, Chad, Jody, Elizabeth and Shana; 12 great-grandchildren; two great- great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruth Harris, Dorothy Bell and Bertha Dusseau. She was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Lamb and Bill Lamb.
