RIENDEAU, Martin Rolland – of Montrose, age 78, died Friday, April 14, 2017 at Genesee Care Center in Grand Blanc. Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 21, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10 AM until time of services at 2 PM. Contributions may be made to the Genesee Care Center.
Martin was born September 3, 1938 in Highland Park, MI to the late Rolland and Delores (Gallock) Riendeau. He married Doris Gerow on March 30, 1957. Mr. Riendeau retired from Buick in 1994 with 33 years’ seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #599. He enjoyed hiking in Arizona, shooting pool, bowling, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Surviving are: Wife, Doris; Children: Susan Moore of Elsie, Martin Riendeau (companion Becky) of Flint, Rolland (Dawn) Riendeau of Chesaning, Christian (Jennifer) Riendeau of Clio; Son-in-law, Eddie Lake of Clio; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; Brother, Robert (Vickie) Riendeau of Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews.
