CLUTTS, JoAnn Carmen (Hernandez) – Of Fenton, age 72, died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Brian's House of Davison. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Visitation 12-8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Clutts will be at the church from 1 p.m. Monday until the time of the Mass.
JoAnn was born in Flint, Michigan on February 14, 1939. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the Red Hat Society.
She enjoyed playing Bingo, gambling and spending time with her family. JoAnn was the owner of the Dog House Lounge in Flint for 40 years. Surviving are three children, Rick Clutts of Fenton,
Kim VanWoert and Eric Woodra of Burton, Michelle and husband Brad Parker of Davison; 5 grandchildren, Justin VanWoert, Kari (Eric) Bancroft, Shannon Parker, John and Jeff Cross; two great-granddaughters, Arianna Bancroft and Keigan Parker; three sisters, Mary Ellen Ketter of Flint, Rose Anne and husband Sonny Hall of Belleville, Stephanie Kreklau (David) of Burton; one brother, Manuel Hernandez (Nancy) of Lake George-Linden; several nieces, nephews and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Anna and Howard Burene; husband, Kenneth; brother, John Hernandez; sister, Pauline Hernandez; brother-in-law, Jerry Ketter and nephew, Kenneth Ketter.
