MASSIMINO, Joseph Lloyd - Of Montrose, age 64, died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Avalon Hospice.
A celebration of his life will be held 1pm Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Sarah Massimino officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Avalon Hospice.
Visitation 12-8pm Tuesday and 11am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Joseph was born in Flint on December 23, 1948 the son of John and Maxine (Meek) Massimino and was a resident of the Flint area all his life. He married Bobbie M. Gallup on August 28, 1996. Joseph was employed with General Motors for 30 years.
He leaves to cherish in his memory, wife, Bobbie;
daughter, Dana;
grandchildren, Paige and Garrett;
sisters, Debbie and husband Gary Noffsinger and Gina and husband Fernando Narcio;
niece, Lisa and nephew, John.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maxine (Meek) Massimino.
