Carol Onalee Allen- age 67 of Lake passed away at Spectrum Health Kent Community Campus on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Carol was born on April 12, 1944 in Flint Michigan, the daughter of George and Winifred (Clark) Reid. She married Rendall Allen on December 30, 1978 in Bancroft, MI. She enjoyed sewing, ceramics, quilting, cooking, and most of all creating stained glass pieces. She owned and operated her own stained glass shop in Evart. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 33 years, Rendall, children Brian Jensen and wife Della of Lake, Rebecca Kohlhoff and husband Terry of Burt, Debra Blasch and husband Gary of Saginaw, Joyce Welch of Jellico ,TN, Jerry Allen and wife Josie of Saginaw, Robert Allen of Saginaw, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, two sisters Leslie Reid of Lake, and Joan Oatley and husband Frank of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Robert Reid. A Memorial Service is planned for Monday, January 23, 2012 at Bethany Baptist Church, 10232 Lake Station Ave., Lake at 2 PM.
