Ronald "Red" Lee Totman
Age 70 of Owosso passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday March 29, 2016 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor John Walworth officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Tree Cemetery in Corunna. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2pm to 8pm.
Ronald was born April 19, 1945 in Cortland, New York the son of Walter Totman and Norma Jean (Ratliff) (Totman) Reid and step-father John Reid.
He attended Cortland New York Schools and Corunna Church of the Nazarene. Ronald proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He married Deborah Kay Dunkin in Corunna on November 30, 1991.
Ronald retired from General Motors and when General Motors was having problems in the late 70's early 80's, he was sent with a group of workers to work at the Salvation Army. After his retirement Ronald spent time working for the SATA bus system and the Salvation Army.
Ronald is survived by his wife Deborah; sister Judy (Bob) Cutter; stepson Jerry Beelby; sister-in-laws Kelly Dunkin and Denise Dunkin; brother-in-laws Tim (Linda) Dunkin and Alvin Ray (Sandy) Dunkin; special nephew Rick (Dani) Dunkin; many nieces and nephews; beloved pets Charlise and Dozer; and friends at Jim Mason's Salon in Grand Blanc.
He was predeceased by his parents; mother-in-law Geraldine Dunkin Maurer; special adopted parents Edwin and Dorothy Saunders; stepson Billy Beelby; niece Traci Dunkin; brother-in-law Rick Dunkin Sr.; pets Tiffany, Rosco, Josh and Bear.
