Sheilia Lea (Abell) Williams, age 70 of Flushing, lost her cancer battle and went to be with the angels on Monday, May 21, 2018. Sheilia was born on April 25, 1948 in New Albany, Indiana to parents George and Margaret (Cornielson) Abel. She retired after many years from the Flint Police Department. She leaves behind her love and partner of 27 years, Cathy Nelson; kids, Michael (Tanya) Nelson and Tracey (Scott) Weiss; grandsons, Ryan, Stephan, Nick, and Alex Weiss. She also leaves her Flint PD family, countless friends, and especially her best friend Pat Dunnebeck to reflect on and remember her humor, smile, and unending love and friendship. A Celebration of Sheilia’s life will take place on Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 1-3pm at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, Michigan.
