MOUTRAY, Jeannine – of Davison, MI, age 69, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Visitation will be 11 AM -1 PM prior to the service.
Jeannine was born in Flint, MI on February 23, 1950, daughter of the late J.D. and Ruth (Kent) Baxter. She worked as a nail technician for many years, then earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Jeannine was a published poet. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and especially loved spending time with her grandkids. Jeannine will be remembered for making the best apple pies, knitting afghans, and homemade hot chocolate.
Jeannine is survived by her children, Kamarae DeGayner, Trenton (Amber) McPheeters; grandchildren, Stryker, Sterling, and Seeger; sister, Denise Baxter; nephew, Dane Baxter. She was preceded in death by her sister, LaRayne Baxter.
