Alemeda was born November 12, 1923 in Portageville, Missouri, the daughter of Lee Anders and Nellie Agnes (Harris) Messer. She married James W. McBride on October 8, 1938. Alemeda was a homemaker. She is survived by her children; Elizabeth Ann Crane of Burton, Nellie (Mickie) Grandstaff of Swartz Creek, Linda S. Rosencrantz of Flint, Virginia Mae McBride of Burton; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. Alemeda was preceded in death by her husband: James W.
