PERAINO, Phillip C. – Of Clio, age 60, died Sunday, July 7, 2019
at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019 at St. Charles & Helena Catholic Church 230 East Vienna Street, Clio, Father Ken Coughlin officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
A Scripture Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Phillip will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of the Mass.
Phillip was born in Flint, Michigan on November 1, 1958, the son of Philip and Dorothy (Filpansick) Peraino.
On May 12, 1979 he married Kathryn A. Stevens in Flint.
He was an avid hunter, loved cooking, woodworking and loved spending time with his family.
He was a member of St. Charles & Helena Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Peraino retired from GM and was a member of UAW Local #659. He was owner of Serafina’s Catering.
Surviving are wife, Kathy;
children, Sarah and husband Karl Pepper,
Greg and wife Victoria Peraino, all of Clio;
grandchildren, Luke and Evah;
mother, Dorothy Peraino of Flint;
brother, Bob Peraino of Flint;
several nieces, nephews and God-children.
He was preceded in death by his father, Philip.
