BREWER, Charlene - Of Grand Blanc, age 71, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 25, 2011 in Elburn, Illinois. A Committal Service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2011 at Crestwood Mausoleum with a Memorial Service following at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Mayfair Bible Church, G-5339 West Pierson Road, Flushing,
Pastor Robert Baxter and Pastor Dale Emery officiating. Those desiring may make contributions to Mayfair Bible Church.
Visitation 4-8p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Charlene was born in Flint on August 16, 1940 and was the daughter of Lauren and Evelyn (Roat) Burns. She was a member of Mayfair Bible Church.
Surviving are daughters, Kimberly and husband Michael Smith of Grand Blanc, Jacqueline and husband Kelly Bodway of Elburn, Illinois;
6 grandchildren, Nicole and husband Andreas Maier, Megan Smith, Bryan, Tyler, Travis and Sydney Bodway; twin sister, Marlene and husband Archie Newcomb of Burton; brother, Charles and wife Barbara Burns of Millington; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; and sister, Marjorie Mollosseau.
