ESTEP, Steven Gregory – of Burton, age 58, passed away February 19, 2012 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk Jr. officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Monday and 10 am – 8 pm Tuesday. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Steven was born in Flint, MI on August 30, 1953, son of the late Orien and Edith (Cantrell) Estep. He married Debra R. Bolen on November 27, 1985. Steven enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, golfing and watching Detroit Tigers Baseball. Steven was a cable splicer for AT&T for 31 years before retiring in 2005.
Steven is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Amie (Victor) David of Florida, Rachel Estep of Ypsilanti, Robert Estep of Florida, Stephanie Estep of Burton; 4 granddaughters, Alivia, Alexys and Alacyn David, Ava Estep; 1 grandson, Jacob Estep; 2 sisters, Deborah Estep of Burton; Sandra (Roger) Couch of Burton; 4 brothers, Michael (Marion) Estep of Missouri, Terry Estep of Missouri, Jeffrey Estep of Burton, Charles Estep of Burton; brothers-in-law, Terry (Jeri) Bolen of Otisville, Kendall (Jan) Bolen of Burton, Murray (Theresa) Bolen of Davison; sisters-in-law, Vicky (Richard) Ruppal of Davison, Cindy (Tim) Smith of Burton, Tricia (John) Morton of Indiana; mother and father-in-law, Leon and JoAnn Bolen; also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gary and Danny Estep.
