WOODWARD, Jeffrey Alan – of Mt. Morris, age 68, died Friday, July 5, 2024 at his residence. Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Adam Manning officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 11:30 until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Jeffrey was born January 23, 1956 in Flint, Michigan to the late Richard and Pauline (Graves) Woodward. He grew up in Flushing, Michigan and graduated from Flushing High School with the class of 1974. On October 13, 1979 he married Kimberley Banks in Flint, Michigan. Prior to his retirement in 1997, Jeffrey worked for GM as a paint associate with 18 years of service. He loved the Lord with all his heart and faithfully served as a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church as a Trustee, sang in the choir, and was a Sunday School Teacher. He was a handyman for many people and enjoyed woodworking. Jeffrey’s therapy was building model military vehicles to display in historic battle scenes. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to Jagger, Jordan, and Dr. Sam Adekolujo of the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Flint and Detroit. The family would also like to give a “Thank You” to the McLaren IV Therapy Department, especially Nurse Carrie.
Surviving are: Wife of 44 years, Kimberley Woodward: Children, Joshua (Rachel) Woodward, Joseph (Amy) Woodward, Kristine (Brandon) Flowers; Grandchildren, Kelsie Woodward, Abigail Woodward, Shiloh Woodward, Faith Woodward, Cameron Flowers, Asher Woodward, Sienna Woodward, Elliston Woodward; Siblings, Penny (Pete) Allmand, Brad (Carol) Woodward, Valerie (Mark) Frania; several nieces and nephews.
