EDDY, Bernard Gordon Jr. – of Mt. Morris, MI, age 61, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Daytona Beach, Florida, surrounded by his family. A Funeral Service will be held 5 PM Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will receive visitors 11AM Saturday until the time of the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Bernie was born in Flint, MI on May 16, 1958, son of the late Bernard and Ruth (Gay) Eddy. He married Christie Markee on August 27, 1977. Bernie attended Kearsley High School. He retired from General Motors in 2004 after many years of service. Bernie enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and riding his Harley. He loved watching the sunset. His most memorable moments were spent with his friends and family. Bernie was always the life of the party. Everyone loved him and he loved them back fiercely. His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Christie; daughters, Jodi (Joe) Murar and Terri (Kevin) June; grandchildren, Chase, Abby, Zachary, Tyler and Bailey; siblings, Marcia Eddy, Paula (Tom) Morrison, Donna McDermitt, Pam (Bob) Vermette and Grant (Sandra) Eddy; many nieces and nephews; his Florida family and friends.
Bernie was preceded in death by granddaughter, Alyssa; niece, Kimberlee Morrison; brother-in-law, Teddy McDermitt;
