DUBY, Donald – of Davison, age 77, passed away December 30, 2017 at Genesys Health Park. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Ronnie Brasher officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation will be 1-3 & 5-8 PM Friday and from 11 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Donald was born in Flint, MI on November 10, 1940, son of the late Henry and Wilma (Nelson) Duby. He married Linda Lewis on March 7, 1960. Donald retired from the V-8 plant in 1992 and was a member of UAW #659. He loved to fish and hunt.
Donald is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Julie (Kris) Voeks, James D. (Ronda) Duby and Robert W. (Joni) Duby; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara (Jerry ) Cook and Jan (Greg) Bissonette; special uncle, Dale Nelson; special friend, Ken Spears; many nieces and nephews.
