Of Mt. Morris, age 75, died Monday March 11, 2013, at McLaren-Flint. The funeral service will take place 6:00 pm, Friday, March 15, 2013, at the Martin Funeral, Cremation & Tribute Services in Mt. Morris. Reverend Matthew Davis will officiate. Linda’s family will be present at the funeral home to receive friends on Friday from 11:00 am until time of service at 6:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the family fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Linda was born November 25, 1937, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Lucille Payne. She and Eugene Emil Block were united in marriage on August 10, 1957. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. In her free time Linda enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on her favorite driver Tony Stewart. She also enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia, Furbies, and angels.
Left to cherish her memory, husband Eugene, ten children, Joanne and husband, Aubrey Barrett, Shelly and husband, Tony Long, Deborah and husband, Peter Gilbert, Susan Seifert, Roxanne and husband, Spencer Wilson, Eugene Jr. and wife, Jean Block, Leroy Block, Billy and wife, Kim Block, Tony Block, Johnny and wife, Eva Block; 23 Grandchildren; 23 Great- Grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren, sister, Jackie, bother, Ivan and close family friend, Virginia Cochran.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Rose Marie, and Ann Marie; and grandson Loren Jr.
